Information regarding data transfer to the US

Among others, tools of companies based in the US have been integrated in our website. If these tools are activated, your personal data may be transmitted to the US servers of the respective companies. We point out that the US are not a safe third country within the meaning of EU data protection law. US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities, without you as the data subject having the right to file proceedings against this.

Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. secret services) process, analyze and permanently save your data available on US servers for control purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.

General information on data collection

We collect personal data if you disclose them to us when establishing contact (e.g. via contact form, job application or e-mail). This includes data such as your name, your address, your e-mail address or phone number. We mark mandatory fields that are absolutely necessary for establishing contact. The exact collected data can be seen from the respective forms. The use of such data complies with art. 6 subs. 1 lit. b GDPR. As soon as we have completely finished the action (or, if applicable, the resulting contract), the data will be restricted for further/other processing actions. After expiry of possible safekeeping periods due to tax and commercial law provisions, the data will be erased, unless you have explicitly agreed to their further use or we have reserved the right to further, legal use in accordance with the present statement.

Purposes of data processing by the controller or third parties

We process your personal data exclusively for the purposes specified in the present data privacy statement. Disclosure of your personal data to third parties for any other than the specified purposes does not take place. We only disclose your personal data to third parties if:

  • you have given us your explicit consent thereto,
  • processing is required for the settlement of a contract with you,
  • processing is required for the fulfillment of a legal duty,
  • processing is required for safeguarding legitimate interests and there is no reason to believe that you have an overriding, protectable interest in the non-disclosure of your data.
Third parties to whom we disclose your data

Due to the fact that the sale of our products exclusively takes place via sales partners, your data (e.g. from the contact form) are disclosed to the competent sales partner.

Establishment of contact

If you send us inquiries via contact form, those data will be saved and processed by us, in order to deal with your inquiry and possible follow-up questions.

If the contact is established via e-mail, phone or fax, this inquiry and all personal data resulting therefrom (name, contact options, inquiry, etc.) will be saved and processed by us, in order to deal with your inquiry.

We will not disclose the data collected this way without your consent.

If your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or to precontractual measures, processing takes place on the basis of art. 6 subs. 1 lit. b GDPR.

In any other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in effectively dealing with your request (art. 6 subs. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (art. 6 subs. 1 lit. a GDPR) if such consent has been requested.

The data sent to us via contact inquiries shall remain with us, unless:

  • you prompt us to erase them
  • you revoke your consent
  • the purpose of the data storage no longer exists (e.g. after completion of processing your request)

Mandatory statutory provisions such as legal safekeeping periods shall remain unaffected by this.

Erasure or blocking of data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. Therefore, we save your personal data only as long as required for achieving the purposes specified herein or as long as defined by the diverse retention periods provided by legislature. As soon as the respective purpose or such periods end(s)/no longer exist(s), we will block or erase the corresponding data as a matter of routine and in compliance with the statutory provisions. This usually happens already when the session is closed.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use the data required or separately communicated by you, in order to regularly send you our e-mail newsletter due to your consent pursuant to art. 6 subs. 1 lit. a GDPR.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via a message to the contact option indicated below or via a link provided for this purpose in the newsletter. Google will use these data on the controller's behalf to analyze your usage of the website, to prepare reports about the activities on the website and to provide further services in connection with the website and Internet use for the controller. Merging of the IP address transmitted by you in this connection with other Google data will not take place.

You can prevent the cookies from being saved by means of a corresponding setting of your browser software; it should, however, be noted that in this case you might not be able to make full use of all the functions on this website. Furthermore, you can prevent the data generated by the cookie and related to your usage of the website (including your IP address) from being captured and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link:

We use the Google Analytics function "Demographics", in order to show you matching adverts from the Google network.

Thus, reports can be prepared including conclusions on the age, sex and interests of the website visitors. They originate from interest-tailored adverts and visitor data of third-party providers. They cannot be attributed to a natural person. You can deactivate this function via the display settings of your Google account, refuse the collection of your data by Google Analytics, as described under "Objection to data collection".

The data are transmitted to Google for analysis. The user is not informed.

Analysis and storage are based on art. 6 subs. 1 lit. f GDPR:

We have a legitimate interest in protecting our web offer against SPAM.

Incorporated YouTube videos

We incorporate YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of the corresponding plug-ins is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
